Are there any regulations I need to comply with by my state when my
child is enrolled in an online home school program?
Yes each state has slightly different rules and regulations regarding home schooling.

How exactly does your program work?
First you schedule an interview with one of our admission specialists over the phone.
During the interview we will explain our program and how students can benefit from
attending an online high school. During the interview the admission specialist will
create an application for the student. Upon the application's approval the admission
specialist will go over the tuition options and collect the tutition over the phone
by credit card. The student will then receive an email with their username/password
to begin the program. It is just that simple!

Is there a comprehensive program exam?
No. We use the portfolio method of evaluation. That is, all work is sent to us
for evaluation and grades are assigned according to the quality of the submitted lessons.
Prior to graduation, we will request a copy of any official testing the student
has completed independently, including the SAT, ACT, CPT, etc.
How often should I send in the work?
You may send in work at your convenience and work at your own pace online.
Will others automatically know that this is a distance education school?
Your diploma does not state that The Ogburn School is a distance education institution.
However, please be aware that distance education is increasingly popular, and that you
are enrolling in an alternative school that is established and meets both state requirements
for operation and is regionally accredited. If you are successful in distance education
you should be proud of yourself!
What is your refund policy?
Ogburn Online will refund your money in full if you are not completely satisfied with
your academic program. If for any reason, you wish to cancel your enrollment agreement
within 14 days after the date of enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel after 14 days of enrollment, refund will not be awarded.
